Meet the Lawrenceville Team Behind Servo Garage Doors Lawrenceville

We’re a small crew, and that’s the point. Every truck that rolls out in Lawrenceville carries a named technician, not a rotating cast. Marcus Deller, Owner

Marcus started Servo in 2015 after a stint working for a larger door company where he kept finding himself apologizing for invoices that didn’t match what was promised over the phone. He built Servo around the idea that the customer should see the failed part before anyone quotes a replacement. When he’s not running jobs himself, he’s the one who answers the phone at 2 a.m. on a holiday and tells you which technician is on the way, by name. He still carries a torsion spring gauge in his glovebox, just in case.

Dana R., Lead Technician

Dana has been turning wrenches on garage doors for 14 years, the last six of them in Lawrenceville and the surrounding Gwinnett County area. She’s factory-trained on LiftMaster and Chamberlain opener systems and handles the bulk of our emergency torsion spring replacements. Dana is the person who will tell you, flat out, that a spring measured at 0.218-inch wire diameter is a builder-grade part, and explain what that means for how long it’ll last. She keeps a detailed notebook in her truck of every unusual install she’s done, and yes, she’ll consult it mid-job if your door setup is weird.

Ray joined Servo in 2018 after a decade doing construction and custom trim work, and it shows in his installs: his door frames are level to the degree, his weather seals sit flush, and he takes the extra 20 minutes to adjust the track so the door doesn’t rub on one side. He’s our go-to for full door replacements and new construction installs, and he knows the Clopay and Amarr product lines cold. Outside of work, Ray builds furniture, which mostly means his garage is full of half-finished walnut tables and a very patient family.

Carla M., Service Coordinator

Carla is the voice you’ll hear when you call during business hours. Before Servo, she spent five years dispatching HVAC and plumbing crews, so she’s spent years explaining to people with a broken door that yes, someone is actually coming, and no, you won’t be sitting around waiting all day. She keeps the schedule, sends the on-the-way texts, and makes sure every job has a documented photo record attached before the day closes. Carla has an encyclopedic memory for which neighborhoods in Lawrenceville have older Wayne Dalton hardware, which matters when ordering parts.

Devon P., Apprentice Technician

Devon’s been with us for a year and a half, learning under Dana and Ray. He started on parts runners and garage door spring logistics, and he’s now trusted to handle opener limit switch adjustments, roller replacements, and pre-install site measurements on his own. Devon is the one who makes sure every truck is stocked with the common torsion spring sizes before morning dispatch, because the difference between a one-trip repair and a two-trip repair is someone checking inventory the night before. He passed his LiftMaster installer certification earlier this year, and no, we didn’t ask him to mention that on every job.
